are simple precautions you can take to reduce and in some cases
preventradiation symptoms:
1. Minimise Bedroom Radiation
It is important to minimise sources of radiation in the bedroom. Your body
needs to be able to rest and recuperate while you sleep. This can only happen if your body is not disturbed by
radiation. The human body also appears to be more susceptible to radiation while we sleep. And since most of us
tend to sleep for six to eight hours a night, our body is exposed to radiation in the bedroom for a prolonged
period. Given that this is the case, it is very important to ensure that your bedroom is a ‘radiation-free
zone’.
There are several simple precautions you can take
to minimise radiation in the bedroom:
- Leave your mobile phone outside your bedroom.
- Watch television in a room other than the bedroom.
- Move your radio alarm clock away from the head of the bed.
- Remove plugs from sockets wherever possible in the bedroom.
- Forget about an electrically adjustable bed or a waterbed.
- Remove any electric blankets.
2. Reduce Mobile/Cell Phone Radiation
The provisional results of a study commissioned by the World Health
Organisation confirm that there is a direct link between cancer and the use of mobile phones. Careful
use of mobile phones may help to prevent related radiation symptoms:
- Use the speaker function as much as possible.
- Keep your calls short.
- Prevent the use of a wireless headset.
- Use your mobile or other wireless phone as little as
possible.
3. Prevent Workplace Radiation
People often spend hours in the same place in an office.
That's why it is also very important to take radiation prevention precautions in the workplace:
- Have the screen and the computer as far away as possible.
- Switch your computer and the screen off when you are not using
them.
- Avoid using fluorescent and energy-efficient light bulbs, and/or lights with
transformers or dimmer switches.
- Use floor coverings, wall coverings and ceilings made of natural
materials.
4. Get Floww Products
